Position Highlights

The Chemical and Environmental Engineering Department (ChEE) is seeking motivated applications to fill a Postdoctoral Research Associate I position to join the Saez and Karanikola (KORES) research groups. This is a year-to-year appointment, contingent on research productivity. Water reuse of often overlooked sources of water are critical to mitigate water scarcity challenges, especially in the American Southwest. Specifically, the selected candidate will be assessing water quality of different water sources (from multiple locations in Arizona) such as secondary effluents for emerging and other critical contaminants and use experimental setups to examine potential removal of those compounds.

Successful applicant will be co-advised by Profs. Eduardo Saez and Vicky Karanikola. Both Laboratories are highly collaborative, multidisciplinary groups focused on understanding bottlenecks of water reuse. Outstanding UA benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance; paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; UA/ASU/NAU tuition reduction for the employee and qualified family members; access to UA recreation and cultural activities; and more!
