What Our Guests Say About Us

The Best Time for Holidays in Iran

Iran is a country of four seasons. Meaning that there is something to do and somewhere to go all year round. Generally, you can have a tour of Iran’s main tourist route in all four seasons; with spring and fall as the most pleasant. The country is specifically at its best in March and April. Summers can be intolerable in some regions (southern Iran and deserts as examples), and winters can be really cold or snowy in certain regions (like west and northwest Iran). If you particularly like to visit the hotter regions, winter is of course the best option. Also note that despite its marvelous aura, Nowruz Holidays mean price hikes and crowded sites for Iran tours and holidays.

Nice Experiences to Add to Your Iran Tour

Discovering Nomadic Lifestyle

Getting away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, and tasting a life of simplicity and migration in the arms of Mother Nature could be the experience of a lifetime! Like their fathers, the nomadic tribes of Iran have been living under tents, surviving through their herds, sleeping under the stars, and traveling in search of green pastures and gentle weather.

Getting a Taste of Iranian Hospitality

Spend a short time with Iranians, and you’ll see for yourself that the main attraction of Iran could just be its warm-hearted people. These hospitable people receive guests with kind smiles, warm greetings, or even invitations to their homes. Add this warmth to their unique lifestyle and their rich culture, and you’ll have an unforgettable Night Gathering With an Iranian Family included in your Iran tour package.

Your Iran Travel Guide

Whether you require a visa to enter Iran depends on your nationality. If you do need one for your Iran tours and holiday packages, you’ll have to apply in advance. You can do it either yourself or leave everything to us. Applying through us means a faster process and a lower chance of getting rejected. American, Canadian, and British citizens might have a more complicated visa process. For more details and finding out about visa-free travel to Iran or traveling to Iran free trade zones check out our blog. To apply for an Iran visa, please Contact Us.

For joining an Iran Tour and applying for an Iranian tourist visa, being covered by a proper travel insurance is essential. The providers, rates, requirements, and ways to obtain one are different. Our Iran Insurance blog can help you choose one.

The official currency in Iran is the Iranian Rial. But, although the bank notes and goods pricings are written in Rial, the prices are almost always given in Toman (1 Toman=10 Rials). So, if for example a shop keeper charges you 10,000 Tomans for a carton of milk, you should pay 100,000 Rials. Well, that’s still a lot of zeros, right? So Iranians usually even drop 3 more zeros and simply say 10 Tomans.

The most important thing to know before your Iran tour is that wearing a headscarf (hijab) is a MUST for all women. The good news is, Iranian women are liberal and fashionable about it and so can you! What else? Well, both men and women should be wearing modest clothing. So neither can wear shorts in public; and no stringers for men. Although you’ll find Iranian ladies dressing more liberally, I’d recommend loose fitting shirts that cover your arms and pants that come down to your ankles. And if you’re wearing leggings or tight jeans, make sure your shirt is long enough to cover your bottom.

While other languages and dialects are spoken in Iran, the official language of the country is Farsi (Persian). For your Iran tour package, besides learning Farsi numerals, there are a few other phrases that will definitely come in handy. Find more at Things to Know Before Traveling to Iran.

You might also know that Iran enjoys a rich literature! With poets Rumi, Khayyam, Hafez, Saadi, and Ferdowsi as the pillars and guardians of the ancient civilization and culture, Iran boasts of a literature rich in spirituality, morality, and humanity. This literature reflects itself in the traditional music, art, and culture you’ll discover on your tour of Iran.

A scarf or shawl (women)

Loose and light clothing for travelling in summer

Warm outfits for trips in winter & fall

A piece of warm clothing for early spring

A camera or a video camera to capture your moments

A pocket dictionary for easier communication

A copy of your passport and the visa page

Cash (EUR or USD)

Personal medication

Sun screen, sunglasses & hat

Keeping in touch with family, friends, and loved ones during your Iran Tour and trip to Iran is easy. Private phones, Iranian Sim Cards, Wi-Fi, mobile data connection, and fax services at most hotels make communication efficient and reliable in Iran. Using your own sim card means higher expenses and limitations like no access to mobile data. So getting an Iranian SIM Card is a better idea. With these cheap SIM Cards, you can have Internet access almost everywhere in Iran. However, if you are planning to stay in Iran more than 30 days, you must register your cell phone. Plus, Wi-Fi access is also widespread via hotels and Internet cafés. Iran country code is +98. Find out more here.

Like to search about Iran attractions or share your Iran Tour experiences with friends and family on social media or social networking while on the Iran tour package? Good news for WhatsApp and Instagram users: there are no limitations. But I’m afraid I’ve got bad news for Facebook, Telegram, Twitter, and YouTube users: it’s not very simple to use your platform! However, where there is a will, there is a way! And the Iranian solution is using VPNs. Our Iran Social Media blog can help you with finding and using a VPN.

Visitors describe Iranians as unbelievably kind and welcoming. These Iranian traits come from the importance of being courteous and open to a guest in the Iranian culture. One example of the Iranian politeness is the sometimes confusing Târof tradition. If a taxi driver, cashier, or shop keeper rejects your money on your tour of Iran and says it’s his/her treat, it doesn’t really mean that you can just leave and not pay (LOL). It could just be a polite gesture! But if they insist, then you’ve just tasted a piece of Iranian hospitality. Yet, like traveling around any other country, following cultural norms will be considerate and respectful of you. For example, modest dress code and behavior are preferred especially in religious places. Avoid public display of affection and alcohol drinking. Also, since shaking hands with the opposite gender is hit-and-miss in Iran, wait for the other person to offer his/her hand. The safest way for a gentleman is to put his hand on his heart, maybe bow a little bit, and show a bright smile. Find out more here.

The unbelievable diversity of climates in Iran has blessed the country with cold snowy mountains, hot sandy deserts, attractive dense jungles, biodiverse islands, and amazing valleys. That’s why on your Iran tours and travel package, you can experience a radical difference of temperature from place to place at a given time during the year.

As a 4-season country, Iran features its spring from late March to late June, its summer from late June to late September, its fall from late September to late December, and its winter from late December to late March. July is the hottest, January the coldest, and December the wettest month of the year.

The average lowest and highest temperatures you might experience in Iran are:

Like traveling around any other country, following cultural norms will be considerate and respectful of you. For example, modest dress code and behavior are preferred especially in religious places. Asking permission before taking a photo of a local, respecting the local culture, taking care of the nature, and taking off your shoes before getting into an Iranian house are also appreciated on your tour of Iran. Some of the things to avoid are public display of affection and alcohol drinking, as well as open criticism of the Iranian government or having activities considered political. Also, since shaking hands with the opposite gender is hit-and-miss in Iran, wait for the other person to offer his/her hand. Iran is a rainbow of ethnic groups stretching over its diverse nature. Turks who mainly occupy the northwest, Kurds who live in the western mountains, Lors who have Lorestan and Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiri Provinces as their home, Arabs who live in southwest Iran, Baloch who have the southeast, Talysh who are mostly found in the west of the Caspian Sea, and finally Fars people who are spread around Iran together form the Iranian nation. Now add the subbranches and the variety of Nomadic tribes and there you have a real rainbow! On your Iran tour package, you can find each of Iran’s ethnic groups, featuring its own unique costumes, music, dance, dishes, lifestyle, traditions, and even sometimes architectural styles!

The majority of Iranians believe in Shia branch of Islam. But minorities who believe in Sunni Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and Zoroastrianism live all around Iran, but concentrated in special areas. The historical city of Yazd and its nearby towns for example are the present center of Iranian Zoroastrians.

You can’t visit Iran and not bring back home at least a piece of Persian handicraft! These precious souvenirs are mainly found in each city’s traditional bazaars. Shiraz’s Vakil Bazaar and Isfahan’s Grand Bazaar are the most popular spots for shopping. You can also grab something nice in museum gift shops and modern shopping malls. Tehran’s Grand Bazar and Tajrish Bazar, Tabriz’s Grand Bazar, Yazd’s Amir Chakhmaq Square, Kashan’s Grand Bazar, and Kerman’s Ganjalikhan Bazar are also great shopping destinations for your Iran tour package. Like to grab some world-famous saffron, Persian nuts, or other Iranian treats? Your guide can help you find the best places for the highest quality.

From classic tours of main cities and top cultural sites, and off-the-beaten-path destinations of unique culture and history, to adventure tours in the nature, or a mixture of all.

Is Iran easy to visit?

If you don’t mind dressing a little modesty and not drinking alcoholic drinks, there is not much difference between traveling to Iran and visiting any other destination around the world. Only that the visa application process takes longer for American, British and Canadian citizens, and they must have a tour guide from start to the end their Iran tour.

Is Iran a good country to travel to?

If you’re interested in history, culture, natural diversity or getting in touch with kind people, Iran will actually surprise you. Ancient heritages from thousands of years ago, a deep-rooted culture and cultural diversity, and people who make you feel like a celebrity make a tour of Iran a precious & special choice.

Thank you

Thank you for your good question, yes there are days which the sightsees are not open in. but no worries we have thought about it before, first the days are a few days, and then we have considered attractive replacements for the tourists in those days.
