Hi i use my domain mainly as local sales but SH404SEF for some reason changes my menu alias from these:
http://xxxx.net/flejes-en-monterrey/flejes-pavonados.html


and makes its short after enable url optimization to:
http://xxxx.net/flejes/flejes-pavonados.html


this is my city in MX, since I use my domains mainly for local sales are getting ....they are going down
-en-monterrey


i tried in extension under joomla to use the menu alias, with no succes, i purge the records, and clean my server cache and browser, serveral times.

i might be doing something wrong , i think the caches are playing me some how

Hi

Hi i use my domain mainly as local sales but SH404SEF for some reason changes my menu alias from these:
sh404SEF never uses menu aliases to build URLs. We build URLs with categories and titles of items you link to, so that the URL is always the same, regardless of the menu item used to get to the content.

You have multiple options to configure the URLs structure in sh404SEF configuration:

Again, the menu alias is never used.

You can of course always manually customize any URLs in the URL manager, simply by clicking on it, as described in the documentation on this page.

This should give you the ability to get the URL you need, if you want/need to keep the old URLs.
